The Sessions event at Carnegie Mellon University

Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer and partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A. was a panelist at The Sessions event at Carnegie Mellon University, College of Fine Arts Building, in Pittsburgh, PA. The panelists discussed marketing, networking, artist relations, self-promotion, and entertainment law.

Paul Quin was a panelist and discussed entertainment law.

Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer and partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A., was a panelist at two events for The Sessions.

The first event was held at McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 19, 2014. The Sessions’ panelists included Dom Famularo (Global Drumming Ambassador), Rick Drumm (Consultant/Certified Business Coach), Carlos Guzman (Production Tour Manager), Christine Ohlman (Vocal/Musicologist), Rhonda Smith (Bassist/Recording Artist), Ray Luzier (Drummer for multi-platinum selling band Korn), and Danny Seraphin (Legendary Drummer and founding member of Chicago).

The second event was held at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California on September 22, 2014. The Sessions’ panelists included Dom Famularo (Global Drumming Ambassador), Joe Hibbs (Artists Relations Product Development), Carlos Guzman (Production Tour Manager), Liberty DeVitto (Drummer/Recording Artist), Nita Strauss (Guitarist/Recording Artist), Glen Sobel (Drummer) and Jerry Jemmott (Legendary Bassist).

The panelists discussed marketing, networking, artist relations, self-promotion, and entertainment law.

Pete Escovedo



Paul Quin had the honor of interviewing Pete Escovedo during the NAMM show in Anaheim. Legendary Percussionist Pete Escovedo has been in the music industry for over 50 years.  He is well known for his combination of smooth jazz, salsa, latin jazz and contemporary music, and has played at many special events including at the White House with his daughter, Sheila E.

Modern Band Rockfest






Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer and partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A., participated in the Modern Band Rockfest on behalf of The Sessions panel, in conjunction with Little Kids Rock.  The event was held July 30 at Colorado State University.

Paul Quin to be a Panelist at Drummer’s Reality Camp

Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer and partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A., will participate in the 5th Annual Drummer’s Reality Camp as part of The Sessions panel.  The Sessions will give a presentation at the one day event, to be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Los Angeles College of Music. 
 
The Sessions panelists include Dom Famularo (Global Drumming Ambassador), Joe Hibbs (Artists Relations Product Development), Carlos Guzman (Production Tour Manager), Rick Latham (Studio and Touring Drummer), Curt “Kirkee B” Bisquera (Drummer Producer), and Denny Seiwell (Legendary Drummer and Recording Artist).  The panelists will discuss marketing, networking, artist relations, self-promotion, and entertainment law.

Paul Quin was interviewed for an article in Florida Trend

Paul Quin was recently interviewed for an article in the March, 2014 edition of Florida Trend.  The article focused on Mr. Quin’s uniqueness in being both a lawyer and a musician.  His long career as a drummer has not only given him the opportunity to make numerous contacts in the music industry, but it has also given him an inside look at the world of entertainment.  It has helped him to better understand the needs of his clients in the entertainment industry.

Paul Quin attended NAMM (National Association Music Merchant).


Paul Quin attended NAMM (National Association Music Merchant).  The three-day event was held in Anaheim, California.  More than 95,000 people attended the networking event to see over 1500 exhibits, demonstrations of technology-driven music products, and for the chance to see music legends like Todd Rundgren, who received the Les Paul award.
