Pete Escovedo

Paul Quin had the honor of interviewing Pete Escovedo during the NAMM show in Anaheim. Legendary Percussionist Pete Escovedo has been in the music industry for over 50 years.  He is well known for his combination of smooth jazz, salsa, latin jazz and contemporary music, and has played at many special events including at the White House with his daughter, Sheila E.

Modern Band Rockfest

Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer and partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A., participated in the Modern Band Rockfest on behalf of The Sessions panel, in conjunction with Little Kids Rock.  The event was held July 30 at Colorado State University.


The Sessions panelists included Dom Famularo (Global Drumming Ambassador), Liberty DeVitto (Drummer/Recording Artist), Carlos Guzman (Tour Manager), John Bryant (Drummer Producer) and Christine Ohlman (Vocalist/Musicologist).  The panelists discussed marketing, networking, artist relations, self-promotion, and entertainment law.
